Frequently Asked QuestionsCan I order my prints online?
Yes, the new IDM Print site allows you to choose your print project, send in artwork and make payment. All orders for prints require prepayment unless your business has an account with us.
I have to prepay?
Yes, in most cases you will have to prepay for your prints. We do this to ensure we can continue providing low printing rates. Even account holders may have to prepay for some orders.

Can I call a print order in?
Sure! We would be more than happy to take your order over the phone. 1.843.379.1198.
Can I get a quote?
In many cases, you can get the pricing you need on our website, but feel free to call us at 1.843.3779.1198 for a quote or estimate of a custom order.
How are your prices so discounted?
Simply put, we lowered our profit margin so we could compete on a national level and attract more local customers at the same time. We are focused on our long range plan of being a highly recognized printer and a business our local community can be proud of.
We need help with design, can IDM Print help?
Yes! We design for almost any medium. Our design team can create a smart, professional design that your company can be proud of. Graphic design rates are charged at $75 per hour. You may have to prepay a specific amount before design begins.
You bill design by the hour? That can be scary.
In most cases we already know how long the average project takes to design. We will give you an estimate before beginning work. If your project takes longer, we will keep you informed of any charges that could incur.
What papers do you provide?
We have spent a great deal of time choosing papers that are of the highest quality and tailored to the specific kind of print you are looking for.
What is TEXT paper and COVER paper?
TEXT paper is normally used for flyers and brochures while COVER is normally used for business cards, rack cards and postcards. As you choose the print product you would like, we help guide you to the proper papers.
What does full bleed mean?
Full bleed means the artwork will extend edge to edge of the paper. There will not be a margin at all. Not all artwork needs full bleed and you may not mind a 1/8" white margin.
Do you charge for shipping?
Yes, we charge for shipping. You will get quick shipping amounts on the get started page.
What Shipping options do you offer?
IDM Print now offers UPS Ground, UPS 3rd Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Overnight shipping. Currently, we do not support Fedex Shipping.

My art file is large so I cannot email it - any suggestions?
Two services that would allow you to send us files would be http://www.yousendit.com and http://www.megaupload.com. Both services are free. We will be more than happy to download your files!
How do you pack the prints?
We are very careful when packing our prints for shipping. Our printing prices may be cheap, but they are high quality so we protect them. We use sturdy boxes, cardboard, paper wrapping, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts to ensure your prints are delivered crisp and unbent. We do not roll prints in any way.
Does IDM Print offer samples?
We do offer samples because the prices on our discounted printing may be hard to believe. We know you might want to see the paper and color quality before you commit. Click here to request a sample.
Does IDM Print provide proofs?
We can provide hardcopy and digital proofs at no cost for prepaid orders. Proofs before order is made will cost $25.
What is resolution?
Resolution is the term used to describe the number of dots, or pixels, used to display an image.
Higher resolutions mean that more pixels are used to create the image, resulting in a crisper, cleaner image.
We typically ask that your graphic is 300 resolution.
What is print ready?
Print Ready indicates that your file has been set up in one of our blank templates (or exactly like) and needs absolutely no modifications before printing. We encourage print-ready files to save you money, but will be happy to set up your file properly for $15.
If you have printed your art with us before, there will not be a setup fee.
